This weekend is a popular weekend with over 100 people were on the site both enjoying Scouting and developing the site.
Many of the crew, sporting their new red t-shirts were also working hard as a team, to ensure that every person who visits the site has a memorable and pleasant stay. Some of their accomplishments included fixing some faults and completing advance works for future projects.
This work follows the successful completion of the manufacture of new signage for the site, which will be installed over the coming weeks.
The website has also been enhanced with many pages having a refresh.
Commenting on the day, Matt, site warden said
“Today I left Danemead so proud. . . It was so lovely to see all different crew members just popping up to visit or help run the site on such a busy day .. . . thank you to everyone else who couldn't be on site today!!! What you all do is amazing and i really do hope we are all together for the work weekend in August”
