The Friends of Danemead are a group of supporters who care passionately about Danemead Scout Campsite and contribute to ensure it continues to develop for future generations.  Any support you’re able to provide ensures that Scouts continue to learn practical skills for life, developing lasting friendships and having unforgettable outdoor experiences.

Friends of Danemead is open to all adult Scout members, current and past, and their families, people who have been in the Scouts as either a Leader, Cub, Scout, Explorer and even Venture Scouts who have had memorable times at Danemead.

Being a member of the Friends of Danemead will help provide financial support to maintain and develop the campsite as one of the best backwoods campsites in the UK.

What do you get for being a Friend of Danemead

For an annual fee of £15.99 you will receive a Certificate of membership.

Annual, dedicated, weekend meet at Danemead Campsite for all current members of FoD, including activities and barbeque with free camping Friday and Saturday night for those wishing to stay overnight.

A twice-yearly newsletter.

Access to a dedicated area on the Danemead website, where merchandise unique to Friends of Danemead may be purchased.
