Local Attractions

Danemead is located in Hertfordshire and when visiting the site, you are ideally located to take advantage of all the leisure and sightseeing attractions in and around the Lee Valley Park and the surrounding areas.

The Danemead Team is on hand to offer all the local advice that you may need and if a member of The Scout Association we recommend checking the A-Z for Activities to see what you need to do to take your young people on the event, including following Policy Organisation and Rules (POR).

Paradise Wildlife ParkParadise Wildlife Park is a fantastic, fun filled, destination for all the family. There is an amazing range of animals including tigers, lions, monkeys, zebras, camels and wolves and what makes them really unique is the fact that you can get up close and personal, meeting and feeding many of the animals.
