Mud Run is back in 2020 and bookings are now open.
Following last year’s success we are pleased to confirm that The Mud Run event returns on Sunday March 29th 2020 to Danemead Scout Campsite. Groups have the option to not only enjoy the event but make a weekend of it and camp for the weekend and a special discounted rate.
Matt, site manager is excited about the return of this event :
" Mud Run 2019 was our first ever annual event and I’m glad to say it went really well! The buzz on the day was amazing and I’m not exaggerating when I say emotionally it almost brought me to tears. To see a site I have poured my heart and soul into over the past three years finally start hosting an event like this was just overwhelming.
However, along with all the fantastic support came some really good feedback. It was our first event so we did hold back on certain aspects. We do listen though and for Mud Run 2020 we will be improving and taking on board these pieces of feedback.
We are still in the planning stage but I can confirm though there will be hot food available (to purchase) and there will be more activities for the kids whilst the races take place! The course will also change with more obstacles and hopefully even more mud!
Maybe, just maybe. This year might even be a themed fancy dress run ! "

Booking is easy using our online system, just book your place on the booking page. Additional items can also be booked as part of your booking including camping and adult t shirts. Bookings will close on 28th February 2020 or when the maximum number is reached, so please book early to avoid disappointment !
